The Department of Computer Engineering Techniques – Evening Studies at Iraq University College witnessed the discussion of the outstanding graduation project presented by fourth-year student Muntadhar Salman Atwan.

Project Title:
“Design and Implementation of a Solar Panel-Based Street Lighting System”

The research presents an applied and practical model that integrates smart street lighting, RFID-based access control, vehicle speed calculation, and small-scale traffic management, all powered by sustainable energy.

The student’s project was discussed under the supervision of a distinguished academic committee composed of:

During the sessions, 22 engineering graduation projects were presented and discussed. All projects focused on advanced applications and fields related to the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Information Security.

These projects reflect the students’ scientific capabilities, creativity, and readiness to contribute to modern technological developments and meet the demands of the digital era.
