Welcome Address by the Head of the Accountant Department – Iraq University College
The Department of Accounting is one of the scientific departments of the University of Iraq College that focuses on studying and applying accounting concepts and principles in analyzing, documenting and evaluating the financial activities of organizations and companies. The department seeks in its programs to make its outputs more closely related to society and meet its needs and goals by linking the characteristics of the department’s outputs of graduate students to the reality of society in order to achieve a development effort and provide the work sectors with outputs with professional specificity in financial, accounting and auditing work. The department teaches advanced scientific curricula over four (4) calendar years, interspersed with applied and practical aspects that enhance the program of preparing and qualifying graduate students who are able to contribute effectively to the labor market.
