The Department of Business Administration seeks to achieve scientific and academic excellence by developing scientific research, producing knowledge, and meeting the needs of the labor market. The department also works to provide an integrated path for its students and faculty members through its scientific, research, and administrative activities, enabling them to become active and creative contributors in serving society.

The department seeks to develop highly qualified administrative personnel who can enhance opportunities for success by relying on the department’s core competencies and offering high-quality academic programs that are aligned with the Iraqi business environment and its continuous changes. Therefore, the department aims to achieve the following:
1. Improving performance and success rates while maintaining a good scientific standard.
2. Developing undergraduate and postgraduate curricula in line with the curricula of well-established universities.
3. Promoting a culture of scientific research in accordance with the university’s research directions, contributing to finding solutions for both the public and private sectors.
4. Graduating students equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values required in the field of Business Administration to meet labor market requirements.
