Memorial Service for the Late Student Sadiq Jaafar

Under the Patronage of Iraq University College, the Department of Law Holds a Memorial Service for the Late Student Sadiq Jaafar

Under the patronage of the Deanship of Iraq University College, the Department of Law held a memorial service in honour of the late student Sadiq Jaafar. The service was attended by members of the College Deanship, the Head of the Department of Law, its academic and administrative staff, heads and staff of the academic departments, as well as the deceased student’s family, relatives, and a number of students.

The memorial service commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the deceased. Eulogies were then delivered, expressing deep sorrow and sympathy and recalling the late student’s virtues, good character, and honourable conduct.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr Abdul Hadi Al-Hassani, delivered a speech in which he extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, affirming that the College stands by them during this painful loss. The Head of the Department of Law, Dr Mahmoud Al-Hassan, also delivered a speech expressing his profound sorrow over the loss of one of the department’s students. He recalled the late student’s admirable character and prayed that he be granted mercy and forgiveness.

The service concluded with a speech delivered by the representative of the department’s students, Ali Majid, who expressed, on behalf of his fellow students, their deep grief over the passing of their colleague. He prayed that Almighty Allah shower the deceased with His boundless mercy, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and bestow patience and solace upon his family, relatives, and fellow students.
