Iraq University College Explores Prospects for Academic Cooperation with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
On Wednesday, 12 August 2026, a delegation from Iraq University College visited Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The delegation was headed by the Dean of Iraq University College, Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Salman, accompanied by the Director of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations.
During the visit, the delegation met with the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Nor Azwady, and the Deputy Dean for Research and Cultural Relations, Dr. Kamarul Amin.
A memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed during the meeting. This will be followed, God willing, by the signing of a comprehensive scientific cooperation agreement with the President of Universiti Putra Malaysia at the beginning of next week, in the presence of the Cultural Attaché and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur.
