Iraq University College Delegation Visits Iraqi Embassy and Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur

A delegation from Iraq University College visited the headquarters of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché and the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, 13 August 2026.

The delegation met with the Acting Chargé d’Affaires, Counselor Dr. Hudhaifa Ziad Mahmoud, and Counselor Ahmed Ghanim Abdul-Jabbar at the Iraqi Embassy, as well as the Cultural Attaché, Dr. Abdul-Jalil Mohammed Majeed, at the Cultural Attaché’s Office.

During the meetings, the participants discussed potential areas and prospects for academic cooperation and scientific research with reputable Malaysian universities.

The Iraq University College delegation included Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Salman, Dean of the College, and Dr. Abdulwahab Issa Hamza, Director of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations.

The Acting Chargé d’Affaires and the Cultural Attaché commended Iraq University College for its efforts and commitment to establishing channels of scientific, research, and practical cooperation through the College’s constructive proposals and programs. They also expressed their strong readiness to support these programs and proposals in ways that serve the interests of Iraq.
