A scientific and cultural seminar was held at Iraq University College

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Abdul Hadi Al-Hassani,
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Iraq University College,

A scientific and cultural seminar was held at Iraq University College, organized by the Committee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, in cooperation with the Shawahid Organization for Human Rights, and attended by a distinguished group of academics and individuals interested in human rights and humanitarian issues.

The seminar included a documented visual presentation addressing the crimes of the former dictatorial regime of Saddam and his associates, in addition to live testimonies that reflected the magnitude of those crimes. It also shed light on the suffering of the victims and the oppression and extrajudicial executions endured by innocent people, within a documentary framework aimed at preserving national memory and enhancing societal awareness.

On the sidelines of the seminar, a photo exhibition was held in honor of our righteous martyrs who were unjustly executed by that oppressive regime, conveying a message that emphasizes the importance of remembering sacrifices and reinforcing the principles of justice and human rights.

This seminar comes as part of the activities of Iraq University College aimed at promoting a culture of human rights, rejecting extremism and violence, and strengthening the values of justice and humanity within society.
