A research paper by Dr. Abdulwahab Issa Hamza, a lecturer in the Department of Communications Engineering at Iraq University College, has been accepted for publication. The work was conducted in collaboration with a distinguished group of researchers from Iraq and Malaysia, at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, and will be published in the journal Optical Fiber Technology, which is ranked in the second quartile (Q2) in the global databases Scopus and Web of Science (WoS).

It reviews recent applications and challenges, and proposes future solutions in this field, given its significant scientific and practical importance in modern engineering systems.
