The opinion committee of the Ministry of Higher Education holds an extraordinary meeting and decides to issue the alternative academic calendar for the current academic year 2020/2019

The opinion committee in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held an extraordinary meeting today Thursday 1/20/2020 headed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail and it was decided to resume studies in universities whose students had been out of work and to continue the previous period starting from 12/1/2020 and based on The instructions, effective controls, scientific standards of the ministry and the terms of sobriety in force by the relevant international organizations and under the alternative university calendar that the ministry will issue during a later time, as this timing will constitute a new scientific starting point for students and our Iraqi governmental and private universities, including Ensuring that the requirements of the current school year are completed in order to preserve the interests of the students and their future and not to lose the current academic year.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Higher Education calls on dear students to start and move forward with their scientific career, as well as the teaching, technical and administrative staff in universities to make more exceptional efforts to make up for the past period.

At the same time, the Ministry shows that other universities that have continued to work are continuing to function according to the effective evaluation, not the alternative.
