Scientific Visit by Students of the Department of Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering at Iraq University College to the Southern Technical University

The Department of Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering at Iraq University College – First Year – organized a scientific field visit to the Southern Technical University / Technical Institute in Basra, accompanied by the Head of Department, Dr. Kamel Abdul Ameer Al-Shamma’, as part of a program to develop scientific skills and provide insight into the practical aspects of specialized academic institutions.

This initiative is part of a series of scientific activities through which the college aims to broaden students’ knowledge and strengthen academic cooperation with educational institutions in the province.

The visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the practical environment in the field of energy and renewable energies by observing the laboratories and technologies used at the institute and engaging directly with professors and specialists in the field.

Dr. Al-Shamma’ emphasized the importance of such visits in connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application, reaffirming the department’s commitment to developing students’ skills and preparing them for the job market.
