Iraq University College Holds a Lecture on Restricting Arms to State Authority

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdul Hadi Al-Hassani, President of the University, and in cooperation with the Valley of the Rafidain Association, Iraq University College organized a lecture titled “Restricting Arms to State Authority and the Dangers of Its Proliferation.”

The lecture addressed the importance of enhancing community security by regulating firearm possession and the role of the state in enforcing the law, in addition to the challenges posed by the spread of unlicensed weapons.

The lecture concluded with recommendations calling for intensified public awareness and the strengthening of trust between citizens and security forces.
