Under the direction of Professor Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Hassani, Iraq University College held an extensive meeting on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, dedicated to discussing mechanisms for accelerating the digital transformation process in higher education institutions. The meeting was attended by Dr. Al-Hassani himself, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, several department heads, faculty members, and representatives from the Information Technology Unit.
The meeting addressed ways to adopt modern digital strategies aimed at developing the college’s technological infrastructure, through automating administrative processes, activating Learning Management Systems (LMS), and expanding the use of electronic platforms to deliver academic and administrative services to students and faculty.
In his remarks, Professor Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Hassani emphasized that digital transformation is no longer optional but a necessity imposed by the demands of the modern era. He noted that adopting modern technologies contributes to improving the quality of education and facilitating access to educational resources, thereby enhancing the college’s standing among higher education institutions locally and internationally.
This meeting is part of a series of steps the college is taking to modernize its infrastructure and leverage the latest digital technologies, in line with its strategic direction.
