Research Summary:
The Spatial Decision Support System (SDSS) has become an important aspect of our daily life for its role in developing decision-based geographic information system (GIS) techniques. This paper will present a proposed smart application for the SDSS system for smartphones for better health services and faster assistance by integrating two types of technology: the improved Dijkstra algorithm that ensures faster response and GIS technology. The goal of the application is to serve as a health aid application that will give instructions to avoid the covid-19 virus, provide the required information and help the injured to find suitable donors or apply using the online database system to add and view the lists of donors and recipients in Basra Governorate. The other goal of the application is to find the nearest hospital and the shortest path to the current health center and determine the time and distance.
