Al-Thaqalayn Academy for Autism in Basra Governorate

Visit of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Dean of Al-Iraq University College to Al-Thaqalayn Academy for Autism in Basra Governorate, and their meeting with Dr. Zamil Al-Araibi, President of the Academy, and Dr. Murtadha Al-Mousawi.

The visit aimed to extend congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the Academy’s first anniversary since its opening and commencement of work in treating cases of autism, hyperactivity, and speech delay among the targeted groups of children, youth, and adults. Additionally, the visit sought to reach an understanding on signing a memorandum of cooperation between the two parties, especially since Al-Iraq University College has decided to establish a Department of Mental Health and Educational Guidance this year and has prepared all the necessary requirements for its operation and community engagement through specialized faculty members.
