IUC honors Professor Hassan Al-Atabi

The Iraqi Political Science Association, Basra Branch, in cooperation with Al-Iraq University College, honors Professor “Hassan Al-Atabi.”

In the presence and under the patronage of the President of Al-Iraq University College, the Scientific Assistant to the President of Basra University, department heads, faculty members, and a number of administrative members of the Iraqi Political Science Association in Basra, a ceremony was held today, Saturday, June 1, 2024, in the conference hall of Al-Iraq University. The ceremony honored Professor “Hassan Abdul Hadi Al-Atabi,” a member of the General Assembly of the Association and an advisor to the Basra Governor on education affairs, for obtaining a master’s degree in political science with a “very good” grade.

The ceremony included the following segments:

• Recitation of verses from the Holy Quran

• A summary presentation of the master’s thesis

• A brief review of the Association’s activities from March to June 2024

• A speech by the President of Al-Iraq University, Dr. Abdul Hadi Al-Hassani

• Participation by Dr. Karim Nasser, Head of the Political Science Department at Al-Iraq University College

The ceremony concluded with a speech by the President of the Association and the honoring of the celebrated professor. In turn, “Al-Atabi” expressed words of thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to those responsible for this gracious ceremony and beautiful initiative, wishing them continued health, well-being, success, and prosperity.
