Article 1
This code is called the “Code of Professional Conduct.”
Article 2
This code applies to employees and those assigned to public service.
Article 3
This code aims to establish ethical standards and guidelines to ensure the correct, honorable, and proper performance of public service duties.
Article 4
First: The employee and those assigned to public service are committed to the following:
Reporting any case of corruption to the competent authorities upon learning of it.
Performing job duties with honesty, integrity, professionalism, dedication, impartiality, and a focus on the public interest.
Providing service to the public impartially, without discrimination based on sect, belief, nationality, or other grounds.
Avoiding discussions on sectarian topics during official working hours.
Being well-versed in the laws, regulations, and instructions related to their work and applying them without any flaw or negligence.
Refraining from giving any promises contrary to the law and not being influenced by emotions when performing duties.
Ensuring that the information provided to the Integrity Commission, other regulatory bodies, or any competent authorities is correct and accurate when required or mandated by law.
Avoiding the abuse of power granted by law.
Working on developing their capabilities, expertise, and professional skills.
Disclosing upon appointment the nature of personal interests that may affect the performance of their official duties.
Refraining from engaging in any activity that may lead to a conflict of interest between their responsibilities and personal interests.
Refraining from working for or accepting rewards from any private sector entity directly related to their previous field of work for three years after the end of their service.
Second:The employee and those assigned to public service are committed to the duties stipulated in the relevant laws.
Third:The employee and those assigned to public service are committed to what is prohibited by the relevant laws.
Fourth: The employee and those assigned to public service are committed to human rights principles according to the constitution and applicable laws while performing their duties.
