The IUC Dean , Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Salman, visited the University of Babylon

The Dean of Al-Iraq University College, Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Salman, visited the University of Babylon / College of Engineering in Al-Musayyib. He met with the Dean of the College, Dr. Wissam Jalil Khudair, along with the respected academic and administrative assistants, the heads of scientific departments, and members of the scientific committee of the college.

Discussions focused on the possibilities of enhancing scientific cooperation between the two parties and updating the twinning agreement in the field of the Department of Energy Engineering and Renewable Energies. The discussions also included reconsidering the department’s name and the curriculum to align with the local market’s needs for energy engineers.

The meeting also addressed the possibility of establishing new scientific departments and fostering research collaboration between the two institutions. This is in line with Al-Iraq University College’s programs aimed at establishing an international research and development center and postgraduate programs in cooperation with the University of Portsmouth in the UK.

This initiative is part of Al-Iraq University College’s strategy to expand its cooperation network with other universities.
