The University College of Iraq was established in 2005/2004 and recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in accordance with Ministerial Order No. G / 032067/8/1/10 on 2/8/2009.

The college has a cadre of teaching staff with great scientific experience, and the most efficient professors.

The college achieved very advanced rates in the results of the final competitive ministerial examinations with public universities for the fourth stage for all departments, where the pass rate in most subjects 100%.

Supplying government departments, civil institutions and companies operating in Iraq with more than two thousand graduates in various engineering disciplines (telecommunications – computers – civil – computer technology) as well as in political science.

The college is distinguished by its scientific laboratories with modern, sophisticated and diverse specialized equipments (38) with workshops and studio.

🔹 The presence of Cisco Networking Academy in the College is accredited and licensed to grant accredited training certificates in computer networks.

🔹 The presence of the Center for Living Languages ​​in the College offers a lot of courses to develop the competence of students in various disciplines in addition to the opening of training and qualifying courses to teach English, French and German and courses in conversation.

The college is subject to the ASIC Accreditation system and has received ASIC Accreditation since 2018.

The College obtained the ISO certificate in the fields of quality and occupational safety, health, environment and security by the international organization AGS.

The college followed the E-university system of electronic management in various scientific, administrative and technical dealings since 2015.

The College joined the Naric International Foundation, which has been recognized internationally since 2005.

The college offers CISCO, V sat, Linux certificate for summer training for students (certificate of experience and academic certificate ((project management).

The College owns the structural engineering laboratory in the Department of Civil Engineering.

The college was distinguished by the graduation of its students to hold a bachelor’s degree, masters and doctorate continuously with foreign universities and twinning (3 + 1) with the University of Port Smooth.

The college seeks to open scientific departments in the field of medicine, energy, law, pathological analyzes, and nursing in coordination with European and Asian universities.

The college obtained the best scientific research for students at the level of Iraq for the academic year 2017/2016 and 2018/2017 within the competition of the American Research Institute.

The evaluation of graduation research projects for students of the fourth stages by international universities sober and up to the level of master’s research recognized by professors with specialized British and Iraqi universities.

Establishing a separate examination room on line testing room to conduct exams in electronic form (MCQS) – for all departments and for all students.

The college seeks to open an international research center specializing in the fields of communications engineering, computer engineering and civil engineering (nano-technology) to develop the research side and attract the distinguished scientific competencies of holders of higher degrees to promote the scientific level of the country.

The college is holding discussions with discreet scientific universities in the field of opening higher studies with different specialties to provide opportunities for students to enter in this vital area and in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The college is serious to follow all scientific developments in the field of studies and adopt what it deems appropriate in meeting the need of our country and our society by sending teachers and specialists to specialized courses and scientific and professional participation.

The college has reduced the tuition fees for students from martyrs’ families, popular mobilization, and the most privileged families by more than a quarter of a billion dinars annually.

The College held its fourth scientific conference for research in the field of communications engineering, computers and computer technologies and continues to hold scientific conferences every year.
