Workshop on drugs and electronic extortion

Sponsored Mr. President of the University of Iraq, Professor Dr. Abdul-Hadi Al-Hassani.. The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at the University College of Iraq, in cooperation with the Mesopotamia Cultural Association, held an educational workshop on (drugs and electronic extortion and their impact on society), on Monday, the tenth of April, delivered by Dr. Abdul Al-Ridha Al-Faaz and Dr. Abdel-Aali Al-Tamimi, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hadi Al-Hassani, heads of scientific departments and a number of professors and students of the college.

The workshop dealt with many axes, including a general introduction to the concept of drugs and electronic extortion from a linguistic and legal point of view, as well as the side effects on the family and society, in addition to the steps that you take when you are exposed to extortion.

The workshop recommended the necessity of spreading awareness and education about the correct use of social media, avoiding leaving loopholes that make it easier for the weak-minded to carry out the electronic extortion process, and to report cases of electronic extortion by calling the community police hotline at any time when a citizen is exposed to extortion.
