Since its establishment, Iraq University College has been dedicated to embracing students and preparing them for academic study and scientific research, employing the latest methods in

1. Joining the Narak International Institution, providing it with the opportunity for global recognition of its graduates’ degrees since 2005.
2. Participating in the twinning system with prestigious international universities such as Portsmouth University, Abadan University of Medical Sciences, Brunel University, University of Birmingham, SWU West Scotland University, Carbondale University, Tehran University, and Bayan University.
3. Obtaining ISO certification in quality, occupational safety, health, environment, and security from the international organization AG5.
4. Adopting the E-University system for electronic management in various scientific, administrative, and technical transactions.
5. Awarding Cisco Linux – V sat certificates for summer training to students (Certificate of Experience and Academic Certificate) (Project management).
6. Accreditation by the ASIC ACCREDITATION international university classification system.
7. Owning a structural engineering examination laboratory in the Civil Engineering Department.
8. Graduating students continuously with Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees from foreign universities and twinning (1+3) with Portsmouth University.
9. Seeking to open departments in the fields of medicine, energy, law, and medical analysis in coordination with European and Asian universities.
10. Winning the best scientific research for students in Iraq for the academic year 2017-2016 in the American Institute for Research competition.
11. The evaluation of graduation research projects for fourth-stage students by prestigious international universities, elevating them to the level of master’s or postgraduate research, as recognized by specialized professors.
12. Seeking to establish a separate examination room for online testing (MCQs) for all departments and students.
13. Aspiring to establish an international research center specializing in communication engineering and computer engineering to develop the research aspect and attract distinguished scientific qualifications from holders of higher degrees to raise the country’s scientific level.
14. Holding discussions with prestigious scientific universities to open postgraduate studies in various specialties to provide opportunities for students to enter this vital field in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
15. The college is committed to following all scientific developments in the field of studies and adopting what it deems appropriate to meet the needs of our country and society by sending lecturers and specialists to specialized scientific and professional courses and events.
16. The college reduced tuition fees for students from martyrs’ families, the Popular Mobilization Forces, needy families, and outstanding students by more than a quarter of a billion dinars. Additionally, more than (300) students were unable to pay tuition fees for the academic year 2018/2017.
Due to the change in Iraq University’s domain to the new official domain, which was still under construction at the time of the audit for ranking among Iraqi universities, our university had the ranking as shown above, and with the efforts of the deanship, administrators, professors, and all employees, we will be among the leading universities. This achievement was made possible thanks to all those involved in the university.
